Did you know that 1 out of 5 people who become pregnant experience a perinatal mood disorder?

You may not need/want mental health support: It’s common to experience mood changes during pregnancy and postpartum and for some, these normal feelings pass without the need for extra support.

You may need/want support to process all of the changes: There are many changes associated with having a child such as; body changes, hormonal changes, and changes to your relationships. Sometimes it can be helpful to seek therapy to support you on this journey even if you do not have a perinatal mood disorder.

Many life changes also occur for non-birthing parents who often needs support during this transition as well.

You may be experiencing a Perinatal Mood Disorder: In many cases (1 out of 5) symptoms of anxiety and depression can increase during this time and can be severe or persistent. Please don’t hesitate to reach out for support.
